Olga Shevchenko made a start at Caritas Ukraine in 2014 when the conflict hit Eastern Ukraine. She worked there until 2018 when she left to pursue a Master’s degree in International Development at the University of Reading, supported by a scholarship from the World Bank. At Caritas, she was responsible for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) for a variety of projects. Olga’s Master’s thesis was written on participatory Photovoice evaluation of wheelchair users’ experience in Tanzania. After graduating, she started working with the MEAL team as a MEAL officer at the headquarters of the International Medical Corps.
